Ron has a standard Xbox controller which needs two hands to operate it, but following a stroke he can only use his right hand and it looked like his gaming days were over. However, Mike Jennings, a volunteer with Remap Essex Central, has been able to help him by modifying the controller for single hand use. The controller how has an extension board with re-positioned controls arranged to suit Ron’s right hand. He has been encouraged to exercise his remaining hand-eye coordination so this isn’t just a fun way of passing the time!
