Determined Sydney practices standing
Three year old Sydney has cerebral palsy which limits her sitting, standing and walking. Jeremy and Daniel, volunteers with Remap Leicestershire & Rutland have modified an existing device called a ReTurn by cutting the frame to size, adding foot and leg restraints and a grab bar that can be adjusted as Sydney grows.
Sydney’s father Danny says “a massive thanks and heart felt gratitude to you for all your hard work. The ReTurn is now perfect and is helping standing and sitting practice. It will help us achieve the long term goal of Sydney never needing hoisting and help build her strength as we continue to practice walking. All in all words can’t express the difference this will make to Sydney’s life. So, many thanks to you and your amazing Remap service.”
