Adam is an Occupational Therapist & Director of The OT Service. His clinical specialisms are elderly care, falls reduction and neurological rehabilitation. He is well respected within the field of commercial consultancy, which has given him his national profile, particularly due to his drive and passion to ensure that all environments, domestic and otherwise, are truly accessible. He organises the clinical CPD content for The OT Show at which The OT Service is an educational partner.
Until Oct 2018 Adam managed 4 hospital Occupational Therapy services in Northumberland providing hyper-acute, acute and rehabilitation across the full range of medical conditions but particularly within elderly care. This role and reputation of clinical excellence led to providing regular lectures at Northumbria University on areas of activity analysis and clinical reasoning.
Adam has presented at numerous national and international conferences on accessible design with focuses on visual impairment, dementia and wheelchair design as well as writing commercial literature on the topic. Adam writes regular articles on varying topics for Driven by Health, The OT Magazine and The OT Show paper.
