We are committed to delivering our essential services as safely as possible. We will continue to ensure the safety of the people we serve, their occupational therapists, carers, and the Remap volunteers who design, make and install specialist equipment. We will continue to monitor Government and NHS guidance regarding social distancing and Personal Protective Equipment and we will undertake sufficient risk assessments.

We are still here, able to provide help, and we will continue to take special measures to do so.

An update on Kane’s journey…

Posted 8 April 2021 in News

The volunteers at our Brighton Remap panel have been hard at work creating a solution for Kane that will help him become more independent.

He wanted the ability to control various parts of his wheelchair, so he didn’t have to rely on people to move parts for him.

In this final update, we can see how Kane is now able to operate his tablet using his mouth pointer whilst able to separately control the movement of the wheelchair. Something that will really help him become more independent!
